The Diverse Abilities Wellbeing Network (DAWN Services) is a care focussed and family-oriented organisation that aspires to provide high quality and empowering support services for people with diverse abilities in Townsville, Cairns, Ingham and surrounds.
We are passionate about offering culturally appropriate services tailored to meet the needs of our valued clients by working closely with them and their families/carers.
We offer a wide range of support services including:
Personal care
Practical support in the home
Community nursing care
Community participation
Daily living support in a shared living arrangement
Travel and transport
Group and centre activities
Accommodation/tenancy assistance
Life skills development
Assistance with life stage transitions
Support coordination.
Currently servicing Townsville, Palm Island, Ingham, Lucinda, Ayr, Hughenden, Cairns, Mareeba, Palm Cove, Atherton and surrounds.
We are looking to move further into Remote communities such as Hopevale/ Cooktown and in between.
