Hello, my name is Jessie, and I am a specialist mental health support worker providing services to people experiencing a range of health concerns, including complex mental health, ASD, ADHD, phobias and anxieties, mood disorders, acquired and traumatic brain injuries, cognitive and intellectual disabilities, and chronic disease.
I work with individuals and their families in a therapeutic, non-judgmental environment and deliver services using the Collaborative Recovery Model.
Having worked in the community sector since 2009 in a variety of roles ranging from direct support, case management, and leadership positions I have a wide range of experience and exposure assisting people to gain control of their lives and to manage complex challenges of daily living.
I work collaboratively with people and their existing support networks to co design, plan, and implement strategies for success.
My aim is to reduce barriers to support and build independence and resilience in people experiencing mental health concerns and disabilities. Through ongoing mentoring and capacity building, my supports intend to help others develop habits and routines that promote wellbeing, as well as improve daily living and life skills.
I am passionate about quality care and strive in all areas of my work to provide person centred, evidence-based supports.
I offer a wide range of services including Home Organisation and Decluttering supports and provide specialised services to work with people experiencing hoarding and squalor. The main difference between me and a regular cleaner is that I am a mental health professional with years of experience supporting people through the underlying cause of this disorder, I also provide the practical support to achieve the results.
