NDIS Training for Independent Support Workers
We provide specialised NDIS training for Participants and independent Support Workers. We give you a solid understanding of the NDIS, legislation and framework paired with practical tools and templates to run your business. Tertiary education such as a Certificate in individual supports are a great start but just don’t include NDIS knowledge and practical tools to get you started. Our expert trainer has worked extensively for the NDIS, has written and audited NDIS plans for quality assurance and has trained Local Area Coordinators in Far North Queensland. We know both sides of the system and the complexities that come with it and are true believers in the power of knowledge. Our training reflects this wealth of knowledge and includes a lot of practical real-life scenarios to refer back to. The training will be delivered 1:1 online or face to face (in FNQ) and takes about 4 hours to complete.

Support Coordination
We understand the complexities of NDIS service delivery in rural and remote areas and have adopted a blended approach. We work with larger NDIS providers and allied health services, as well with independent Support Workers in your local community to make your NDIS plan work for you. We work closely with the Partner in the Community, LAC and ECEI services and have a great understanding of available mainstream and community supports. Rena has over 20 years of experience in the community sector, worked for the NDIS (PiTC) as Team Leader and trainer for Local Area Coordinators and has vast insider knowledge and experience through writing and auditing NDIS plans.
